We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use NameCombinery for personal or commercial name-generation purposes, subject to these Terms.
Results generated by our tools — combined names, blended words, and translated text — are yours to use. We claim no ownership over the output you generate. Note, however, that we cannot and do not guarantee that any generated result is original, unregistered, or free from third-party rights. See Section 6 and our Disclaimer.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Use automated systems, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service at a volume that burdens our infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our servers, systems, or any part of the Service
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying logic of our tools
- Copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of our content without written permission
- Use the Service to generate names or text intended to harass, impersonate, defame, or deceive
- Remove, obscure, or interfere with advertisements, or manipulate advertising displayed on the site
- Frame, mirror, or present the Service as your own
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for any user who breaches these terms, without notice.
4. Your Input
You are responsible for the names, words, and text you enter into our tools. You confirm that you have the right to use any information you submit and that doing so does not infringe the rights of any third party.
We do not moderate or review tool inputs in real time. Inputs are processed to generate results and are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on NameCombinery that is not user-generated — including the website design, layout, logos, branding, written content, and the tool implementations themselves — is owned by NameCombinery or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property law.
“Wingdings” is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Our Wingdings Translator is an independent tool for character conversion and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft. Any other trademarks appearing on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
You may share links to our pages freely. You may not reproduce our written content in bulk, on other websites, or in published material without prior written consent.
6. No Guarantee Of Name Availability Or Originality
Our tools generate suggestions using algorithmic combination. We make no representation that any generated name, word, brand name, username, or domain is:
- Original or previously unused
- Available for registration as a domain, business name, or social media handle
- Free from existing trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights
- Legally usable in your jurisdiction
Before adopting any generated name for commercial or legal purposes, you are solely responsible for conducting appropriate availability searches and, where relevant, seeking professional legal advice.
7. Availability Of The Service
We aim to keep NameCombinery available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical faults, hosting issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time without prior notice or liability.
8. Advertising And Third-Party Content
NameCombinery displays advertising, including through Google AdSense, and may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, services, accuracy, or practices of third-party advertisers or linked sites. Any dealings you have with a third party are solely between you and that party.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to access the Service, which for free users is zero.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NameCombinery and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.
